Gen. Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign
team has released a statement saying the
All Progressives Congress (APC)
Presidential candidate will address the
controversy surrounding his educational
qualification by 9am on Wednesday.
After weeks of accusations and counter-
accusations from followers of the leading
parties in next month’s elections, the
Nigrian Army, today released a statement
saying it is not in possession of the retired
generals certificates.
A statement by Garba Shehu, the media
director for his campaign team, said Mr.
Buhari will respond on Wednesday. The
party said Mr. Buhari remains “fit as
fiddle”, but did not give further details.
Garba Shehu, the spokesperson of
Buhari’s campaign machinery has,
however, announced that the APC
candidate will address the controversy
tomorrow morning in Kano where a rally
was held on Tuesday.
