Christiano Ronaldo and his camp have
been keen to sell us the idea that while on the pitch he has superstar powers,
away from the game he is just a normal guy who is not over-obsessed with his
personal image.
That narrative does not quite fit
with a revelation from the communication director of Madrid's wax museum, who
has suggested that Ronaldo takes a very close personal interest in the
appearance of his likeness, which has been on show at the Spanish capital
tourist attraction since December 2013.
